FUNDHOST DATA FEED UPDATE

We’re pleased to advise that data feeds are now back up and running for strategies that fall under the Fundhost umbrella as a result of Fundhost’s system migration last year. This includes the following: The Montgomery Fund, The Montgomery [Private] Fund, Montgomery Small Companies Fund, Polen Capital Global Growth Fund and Polen Capital Global Small and Mid Cap Fund. We appreciate all your patience whilst Fundhost navigated through this system change and a summary of the communication that went out to the IRESS community is available below.

What is changing?

  • The Montgomery Fund data feed has been renamed to Montgomery Investments.
  • The data feed has been extended to all Montgomery funds, not just The Montgomery Fund.
  • Montgomery have made improvements on their data feed process by adding regular monitoring and maintenance of client data. This will eliminate the need to request refreshed data files and ensure high data quality.
  • Montgomery have upgraded Registry system, and as such key identifiers such as Adviser, Client & Account IDs have changed.
  • To ensure data can only ever be transmitted to the right adviser, it will now be a requirement that all advisers have a password entered along with the adviser code in Xplan to receive data.

When is this change occurring?

  • The enhanced data feed was released on the 30th of January 2024.

What do advisers need to do?

  • Advisers already utilising The Montgomery Fund data feed will need to acquire new adviser codes and passwords from Montgomery and update their adviser mapping in Xplan accordingly.
  • Advisers wishing to register for the Montgomery Investments data feed, please contact Fundhost via email or phone found below to request access for your Adviser ID and be provided with a corresponding password to used in the adviser mapping.

What is Iress doing?

  • Iress has updated the client and account Identifiers within Xplan to align to the new data feed, so you do not need remap them.
  • Iress has added a 'Vendor Lock' to the data feed to preserve the existing data history within Xplan. This can be removed if you would like to replace the existing data, with data from the new data feed.
  • Details on entering your Adviser ID into Xplan and/or activating a data feed can be found here: Registering for a data feed in Xplan - Adviser Mapping, Activating / Disabling a data feed.
  • If you need details on how to remove the date lock, please refer to Datafeed DateLocks
